It's been a hell of a year. First there was the incident with the waffle iron and the underpants. Then there was the episode with the superglue - the postman still won't speak to me, literally. From experience I can now advise you that no matter how hungry you think a Tiger maybe you should never feed one your cheese and pickle sandwich without wearing one of those old tymey knight of the round table style suits of armour.
Oh and there is that Pandemic thing.
We've all had a bit of a rough time of it. However, it is times like this where we grow and learn to appreciate life and our fellow human beings. It's a great time to offer a helping hand where and when we can to make someones life a little easier.
That's where this series of posts comes in. I like to highlight charities, with a little connection to Corner Gas, that I hope we as a community can get together and give a little of our love, time and maybe a few spare dollars, dimes or pennies.
Last year I bought to your attention Vela Canada.
Lets her from one of Vela's board of directors.
This year Vela have been running their Twelve Days of Christmas event across social media to help raise awareness. So I figured I'd jump in with my two peneth again.
